99% of the products on offer at www.DandysGardenCentre.co.uk come with free delivery to England and Wales.
If you’re in Scotland then don’t worry – you can still order – we just have to charge a small amount to get your goods to you. Because our prices are the lowest online anyway the extra charge shouldn’t come as too much of a blow.
“So you ship for free – I guess that means it’ll take forever for my stuff to turn up – and it’s bound to come on a day when I’m already busy!?”
No-siree! All of our products are shipped out same or next (working) day so you can always expect delivery within 2 to 3 working days of order and you can even choose a day convenient for you when you go through checkout.
If you’re in a super rush then you can also opt for a next working day or Saturday delivery though these options do come at an additional cost.
How we actually deliver…
All deliveries and collections will be made between the hours of 9am and 6pm unless you specify a morning or afternoon delivery at checkout.
Unfortunately we can only currently deliver to UK mainland.
We can’t account for traffic or drivers hours or cows blocking the roads etc so please remember this when requesting a rough time of delivery; over 98% of our deliveries are made on the day
requested and we always try to give you an approximate time when asked.
During delivery goods will be dragged onto a lift attached to the back of the delivery vehicle and lowered to the ground. The driver will then pull the trolley off the lift to the edge of the road, bottom of your driveway or onto the pavement.
The trolley won’t move on uneven surfaces such as grass, gravel or earth and there is no lifting gear so the products can’t be put over a wall or similar. The driver will manually move the trolley;
it’s a bit like pushing a baby elephant on a skateboard so if you live on a hill or slope or have a gravel driveway etc then please call us before ordering so we can check out your point of delivery for you first!
Our hauliers prefer to use standard 18 tonne delivery vehicles which are around the same size as a normal Council bin lorry. If you’ve got restricted access to your property or low bridges, overhanging trees etc then call us first and ask for a smaller, 7.5 tonne delivery vehicle!
We deliver to England, Scotland and Wales but currently mainland only. In the near future we hope to begin trading in Northern Ireland so do watch this space!

365 day Returns Policy:
We operate a 365 day return policy so if you aren’t 100% satisfied with your purchase you can return it to our warehouse and get a full refund. This means you can buy from us and have a full year to return the goods should you decide they aren’t for you after all.
If you want to return your items then just follow the process below…
- Call us on 0845 456 3089 to let us know that you are going to be returning your item; we’ll need your order number, full name and address.
- Confirm for us that the goods are in the same condition as when you received them; they must be in the original, unopened packaging.
- We’ll email you a returns label to attach to the goods.
- Send the goods back to: RETURNS DEPARTMENT, Dandy’s Garden Centre, Fourth Avenue, Zone 2, Deeside Industrial Park, Deeside, Flintshire, CH5 2NR.
- Once we’ve received them we’ll then check and weigh the goods; if everything is dandy then we’ll issue you a full refund of the original purchase price.
If you want to use us as a ‘courier’ then we can collect your goods for you – this service will range on price depending on the item but usually is around £35+VAT for a pallet of small bags or a bulk bag and about £15+VAT for a small item such as a rake or shovel.

- Call us on 0845 456 3089 to let us know that you are going to be returning your item; we’ll need your order number, full name and address.
- Confirm for us that the goods are in the same condition as when you received them; they must be in the original, unopened packaging.
- We’ll email you a returns label to attach to the goods.
- Attach the labels to the items and ensure that goods are in the same position originally delivered to or that they are located in an accessible area which is level and hard-standing (concrete or tarmac).
- Call us on 0845 456 3089 to confirm that goods are ready for collection.
- Once we’ve received them we’ll then check and weigh the goods; if everything is dandy then we’ll issue you a full refund of the original purchase price, less the previously agreed costs of collection.
