Lawnmix® is our original topsoil and we use it as a base to create all of our lovely soil blends in the topsoil lab.
We only source from greenfield sites – no skip waste or skimmed rubbish for us – and unlike most we screen down to between 5mm and 10mm so the end result is a pretty fine one with few stones or clods.

New turf or seed needs between 2 and 4 inches of really decent topsoil to be able to root in properly and get all lush and green; the stuff below that can be rough and stoney though so check out our ecoSoil™ if you need to fill or level up anything over 4 inches.

Our Lawnmix® Topsoil is available to buy in small, handy bags shrink wrapped to a pallet or in a big builders-merchants style bulk bag.

Each small bag contains approximately 25kg.
Each bulk bag contains approximately 900kg.

A tonne of topsoil (1000kg) will cover around 12-15m² at a depth of about 50mm.
